Job Description Our client is looking for a Digital Platform Architect to join the Data and Platform Architecture team. Our client is in the early stages of a massive customer transformation project and moving 2 of their major commerce platforms to transactional commerce sites. They are looking for a resource who can come in and hit the ground running both technically and from a leadership perspective. They will be about 70% hands on technically with the project, and 30% leadership responsibilities. Skills and Requirements • 7+ years of platform architecture and/or sr. level development experience. • Digital commerce platform integration, implementation, and deployment expereince – B2B digital commerce preferred. • At least 1 year of leadership experience. • Strong understanding of MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless) • End to end data architecture experience: o Ingestion – processing and transformation (ETL) – storage – analysis – delivery • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines. • Data processing frameworks – Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, etc. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Terraform, etc. • Experience driving AI and data architecture initiatives. • Solution oriented and ability to communicate effectively across the organization at all levels. • BA in related field. • Any relevant certifications in data architecture, data engineering, or cloud platforms o AWS certified data analytics, google cloud professional data engineer, etc. • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards. • Experience implementing data security measures.
