Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for a 430-bed acute care hospital in conjunction with a 30-bed rehab hospital located in Yuma, Arizona. The only major medical center serving Yuma, Arizona, provides high-quality, patient-centered care. Yuma is located only 2 1/2 hours east of the beautiful San Diego, CA, and 3 hours west of the Greater Phoenix and Scottsdale area.  Leave your coat behind and enjoy temperate weather for at least half of the year!

What You'll Do Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient, outpatient MNT, acute care rehab, and inpatient Behavioral Health Unit for the community Formulate, document, and implement nutrition carePerform enteral and parenteral nutrition assessments as needed Attend daily rounds with the healthcare team, participate in developing and presenting training classes for Nursing/Medical Education/ Dietetic Interns and Food and Nutrition Employees as neededParticipate in community outreach activities as needed and assigned What We Offer

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
