PeaceHealth is seeking a Dietitian I - Outpatient for a Part Time, 0.60 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is **$32.32 – $48.48** . The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training and work experience.
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Outpatient Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Longview, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition care to patients within the hospital setting, as well as working closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, part-time hours in a dynamic healthcare environment.
**Essential Functions**
+ Competent use of the Nutrition Care Process including nutrition assessment, identification of nutritional diagnosis, implementation of appropriate nutrition intervention, and formulation of patient specific goals, monitoring, evaluation, and follow up of outcomes.
+ Using evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines, will provide nutrition education to patients and families in the outpatient and/or inpatient settings.
+ Provides consult services to other healthcare providers and participates in the interdisciplinary team.
+ Documents in the EMR in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations.
+ When appropriate, makes referrals to other services, agencies and community resources.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**What You Bring**
+ Master's Degree Required: in a related field of study.
+ Caregivers who earned their RD license before 1/1/2024 when a bachelor's degree was sufficient will be grandfathered.
+ Must be able to design, implement, and evaluate instructional materials.
+ Current Medicare provider status number may be required.
+ Registered Dietitian or registration eligible (must pass the Registration Exam 180 days)
+ Certified Dietitian-Washington Required for Outpatient Dietitian’s in WA.
