Sodexo is seeking a Dietetic Technician for a full time position at Willow Point Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 300-bed skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation facility located in Vestal, NY. Nestled in the scenic Southern Tier of New York, Vestal offers a blend of small-town charm and modern convenience. What You'll Do provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on skilled nursing units in collaboration with the Registered Dietitian;  be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process;participate in operational tasks, including meal rounds and test trays as well as long range projects to support the department; andefficiently and effectively organize clinical and operational responsibilities. Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice in a Dietetic Technician Program as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework in a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) as dictated by ACEND, or required coursework and supervised practice in a Certified Dietary Manager Program as dictated by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM)

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Nutrition & Dietetics Technician, Registered (DTR/NDTR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM)Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
