The Dietary Cook is responsible for:
Upholding Live Well's mission statement and attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail
For preparing and cooking meals for residents in accordance with their individual dietary needs and preferences
You will work closely with the dietary team to ensure that meals are nutritious, delicious and meet all dietary requirements and safety standards

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as cook in healthcare or institutional setting
Knowledge of dietary requirements
Familiarly with food safety
Culinary background or certification from school or program
Ability to work independently or with a team in a face pace environment
Physical Requirements:
Standing up to 95% of the time
Lifting and carrying 25%of the time (up to 50lbs)
Pushing and pulling 25% of time (up to 50llbs)
Bending, twisting, reaching, ect.25% of the time
Exposure/ Work Environment:
Work hours may vary and include holiday evenings, weekends.
Sounds levels may be high due to machinery
Chemical exposure
May be exposed to hot surfaces
