Dietary Aide - Elbow Lake - Casual (Less than 32 Hours Biweekly) Job Details Job Location Elbow Lake Medical Center - ELBOW LAKE, MN Position Type Casual (Less than 32 hrs every 2 weeks) Salary Range $16.82 - $21.53 Hourly Job Category Food Service Description The Dietary Aide is responsible for complete preparation and distribution of patient and employee meals. Duties include, but are not limited to, delivering patient trays, assisting Cook with preparing meals mainly on grill and fryer for cafe service, performing cash register transactions, and assisting with grocery deliveries. Staff must have complete knowledge in all areas of the kitchen and be prepared to perform all duties as requested by the Dietary Site Manager. Department Description We are a small, family friendly department in a rural family friendly hospital with a BIG heart for our patients, guests and fellow employees. Knowledge in safe and proper food handling is helpful but not required. All of the important and detailed skills needed to be a competent food service professional will be learned during the training process. Must be available to work generally from 6am-3:30pm on weekdays, and will generally not be scheduled on weekends. Shifts include an every third holiday rotation. Compensation Hourly Wage Range: $16.82-$21.53/hour Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
