**Description** PeaceHealth is seeking a Dietary Aide - Kitchen for a Part Time, 0.80 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $18.92 – $25.24. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. **This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. There may be more than one opening on this posting.** **Job Summary** This position is responsible for performing diversified duties in the kitchen and the tray line. **Essential Functions** + Ensure dishware, flatware, pots and pans are clean and sanitized. Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of dish room and carousel. + Assists in assembly of patient food trays on tray line. + Deliver and retrieves patient food carts to patient floors. Delivers floor stock to patient floors. + Stocks small wares in cafeteria server. + Checks and records dish machine temperatures in HACCP log. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** **Education** + High School Diploma Preferred: or equivalent **Experience** + Preferred: Related experience **Credentials** + Required: Food Handlers Card - Washington **Skills** + Basic computer/keyboarding skills (Required) **Working Conditions** Lifting + Cooks: Continuous moving around area. Occasional carrying up to 25 lbs. Frequent reaching/ bending/ stooping, grasping. Occasional squatting/kneeling. Frequent pushing/pulling 30 lbs. sustained force with frequent stop/start. + Stores Coord Asst: Continuous moving around area. Lifting: Frequent up to 50 lbs. Occasional up to 35 lbs. Frequent reaching/ bending/ stooping/ grasping. Occasional squatting/kneeling . Environmental Conditions + Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy environment. + Working near/around heated surfaces (oven). + Working near/around water/liquid. Mental/Visual + Vision and hearing required within normal limits (glasses, contacts, hearing aids permitted). + Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
