Job Duties: The Dietary Aide/Cook, under the supervision of the director of dietary/culinary services, supports dietary/culinary services. They prepare beverages, nourishment, salads, and desserts as assigned. They follow proper procedures for utilizing, sanitizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, cutting utensils, sinks, pots, pans, etc. The Dietary Aide/Cook shall fulfill these responsibilities promptly to meet our clients' daily mealtime service requirements.
Schedule: AM 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, PM 11:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Qualifications:
+ A high school diploma/or equivalent desired.
+ Previous experience in food service preferred.
About the Campus: Crestwood Center is a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center located in Angwin, amidst the beautiful hills of the Napa Valley. The facility provides a versatile array of classes for clients to participate in during their recovery program and encourages active participation in treatment planning from the moment of admission. Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers (MHRCs) provide psychosocial rehabilitation programs in secure, residential settings with a focus on brief lengths of stay.
The Dietary Aide will assist with meal preparation, diningroom assistance, dishwashing and cleaning. The Dietary Aide is responsible forassisting in maintaining and cleaning the kitchen areas, equipment, utensilsand serving trays. The Dietary Aide canwork in a variety of settings including hospitals, long term care or group homesettings.
Minimum Requirements:
+ High School Certificate (or equivalent)
+ Dietary Practices or Home Economics Certificate (orequivalent) preferred
+ One year experience as a Dietary Aide or cook preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
