SUMMARY: Repairs and maintains fleet vehicles and equipment including heavy to light trucks, cars, forklifts and vending refrigeration units by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reads problem description and diagnosis equipment to determine malfunction and corrective action necessaryfor repair.Inspects vehicles for defective equipmentPerforms preventive and corrective maintenance on all fleet vehicle systems.Overhauls gas or diesel engines.Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on vehicles, and makes adjustments.Lubricates moving parts and drives or operates repaired vehicles and equipment to verify conformance tospecifications.Installs special lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices according totechnical manuals or schematic drawings.Performs minor maintenance and repair of building and plant equipment including, air-conditioning,plumbing, cable installation and other mechanical related components.Wears company provided uniform and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety standards andto present a professional image.Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
