Temp-to-Hire position$25.00 to $28.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm)Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and related components.Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve problems.Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service recommendations.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.Work on various types of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding repair needs and timelines.Must have own toolsDiesel Mechanic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy truck technician.Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics.Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools safely.Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Must be DOT Certifiable, Experience will be verified through DOT Licensed shops for pervious experienceApplicant may be subject to a background checkApplicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle ReportPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
