Die Cutter Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Die Cutter Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine operation, particularly in the printing and packaging sectors, and will be responsible for setting up and maintaining die cutting equipment to ensure precise and efficient production.
Responsibilities
Review job ticket to understand specific requirements.Conduct pre-make ready procedures as necessary.Set up die, counter plates, stripping section, and press.Pull front trim as required during operations.Clean counter plates and strip down dies after use.Maintain cleanliness around the press area.Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required.Deliver cut cartons to the finishing department.Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential Skills
Proficiency in machine operation and general maintenance.Experience in die cutting and setting up machines.Mechanical aptitude with a focus on printing and packaging.Familiarity with printing press operations.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
