Demonstrates independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Assists radiologist and other physicians with procedures to provide customers with the highest standard of care. + **EDUCATION** + **Attending a School of Radiologic Technology that is affiliated with Lenoir Memorial Hospital.** + **EXPERIENCE** + **Clinical rotation through a hospital setting during training.** + **LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION** + **None specified** + **OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS** + **CPR training. Good communication skills to interact with patients and other employees. Promotes a positive image of the hospital at all times. Demonstrates a “Team Player” attitude and have the ability to handle stressful situations properly.** + **WORK ENVIRONMENT** + **Maybe exposed to bloodborne pathogens, which include HIV and Hepatitis B. Maybe at risk for exposure to TB and other potentially infectious diseases. Must use personal protective equipment when at risk for exposures to bloodborne pathogens. Exposure to ionizing radiation, requiring the use of radiation protective equipment.** + **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** + **Walking and standing throughout shift. Pushes and pull stretchers and/or wheelchairs occupied with patients. Lifts patients daily with assistance. Lifts and carries films, cassettes, chemicals and supplies.
