As a Diagnostic Radiolographer at MercyOne, you will:

Complete all diagnostic procedures as described in the diagnostic policy and procedure manualInstruct student technologists and peers as requiredBe responsible for generating, reviewing, submitting, and completing diagnostic images as requiredMonitor diagnostic area, O.R. and ED for safety and uses safe radiation practicesProvide excellent customer service to all internal and external customersProvide competent patient care to the above indicated patient populations by obtaining and appropriately interpreting data, making appropriate decisions based on demonstrated knowledge of age-specific growth and development, and appropriately adapting procedures and treatmentsPerform other responsibilities as requested by supervisor, manager or department head

Hours/Schedule:

Per Diem - works as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Credentialed in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)Possess current Iowa Department of Public Health Permit to Practice in RadiographyMust be flexible for the staffing of all shifts, weekends, and holidaysPossess organizational skills to prioritize dutiesProvide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Provider-American Heart Association or Professional Rescuer-American Red Cross) prior to employment or within 30 days of hire and maintains current statusProvide proof of Mandatory Reporting for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training prior to employment or within 6 months of hire and maintain current status
