We provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs while following standards of safe radiation practice. We ask that as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer you always demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists, and act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.


Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

HS Diploma or GED requiredARDMS - registered required RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR);
or ARRT registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) with OB or ABD required within 1 year or hire, or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT)or ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required

Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

The Imaging Department at St. Anthony Summit Hospital runs with 30-35 certified imaging technologists and encompasses seven different modalities including: CT, MRI, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, DEXA, Echo and soon we’ll be expanding to include a Cardiac CT program. We all operate as a unified team, support each other, and encourage cross-training. As a smaller hospital, we also collaborate closely with all other departments to seamlessly to ensure exceptional patient care. We are looking for individuals who can enhance our culture of care, prioritize the patient above all else, strive for high quality, and prioritize safety.
