Description of Work Unit
Veterinary Teaching Hospital
At the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital ( VTH ) we exist to educate the next generation of veterinarians by providing exceptional veterinary care and service to the community every day. This work unit exists to provide administration and direction of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and provide a support facility for service to the general public and referring veterinarians.

Position Summary
This position will be M-F, 40 hours a week. This position will enhance current personnel and operations by operating equipment to produce radiographic images, assisting with positioning, providing classroom and on-unit instruction, scheduling patients, maintaining patient records, and managing equipment and supply inventories. Position will operate semi-independently in performing the full scope of standardized protocols and procedures. Work requires determining solutions to practical problems using specified professional standards and established criteria. This position will have cross-over training into Ultrasound and other deemed areas of the imaging unit.
Required Job Qualifications
+ Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree.
+ 2 or more years Veterinary technician experience.
Preferred Job Qualifications
+ Veterinary Radiology experience
+ Bachelor’s degree

+ Responsible for positioning and conducting diagnostic imaging procedures on small animal patients within the Radiology department
+ Adhere to positioning protocols as defined in the department
