Part-Time/Evening Shift
The Specialist-Diagnostic Imaging Support assists and directs patients while retrieving, organizing and inputting digital images and/or exam information into our Electronic Medical Records System (EMS). The Diagnostic Imaging Support Specialist is responsible for all applicable software, and interacts with many departments, office staff, physicians and patients. The position requires extensive clerical, telephonic, and customer service skills.

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training and Basic medical terminology course, or completed within 6 months of hire. 1 year of Clerical or Customer Service experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's Degree In the medical field or equivalent educ/experienceAssociate's Degree: 1 year of medical and/or clerical experience or a successful completion of a Providence Internship. Coursework/Training and College courses in intermediate medical terminology and physical anatomy. Or Medical terminology and physical anatomy: knowledge obtained through work experience. Diagnostic Imaging experience. Electronic Medical Records System experience.
