The DFC Collateral Supervisor is an integral member of the Collateral Management team and will contribute to the efficient and effective workings of all team functions by executing daily tasks with strong attention to detail, leading the recovery team through communication to achieve department goals and objectives. This person will coach, mentor, and resolve any issues related to the Collateral Management team’s members ensuring the overall success of the company. The DFC Collateral Supervisor reports to the DFC Collateral Manager. Location: Tigard, OR (Hybrid) or Medford, OR (Hybrid) Responsibilities + Maintaining and developing relationships with 3rd party vendors such as repossession agents + Understand company and department goals, and effectively communicate goals to team members + Ensure team is meeting performance expectations and hold team members accountable + Manage team resources to meet department month end and year end deadlines + Handle routine work dilemmas independently and raise issues with manager when necessary + Recognize customer needs and provide a high level of customer service + Seek continuous improvement; encourage ideas to improve processes + Provide direction and support to team members and provide honest feedback + Maintain positive cross-departmental relationships + Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree preferred + Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience + Knowledge of asset recovery preferred + Strong attention to detail + Sense of urgency + Excellent communication + PC skills including knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Windows, etc.) Competencies + Does the right thing, takes action and adapts to change + Self-motivates, believes in accountability, focuses on results, makes plans and follows through + Believes in humility, shares best practices, desires to keep learning, measures performance and adapts to improve results + Thrives on a team, stays positive, lives our values Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.* + Up to 1/3 of time: standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds + Up to 2/3 of time: sitting, kneeling, reaching, talking, hearing *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.
