Devsecops Engineer
Description Required: • Management and usage of DevOps platforms, including Azure DevOps and GitHub • .NET C# development skills for backend process orchestration, API development, and front-end UI development (Blazor) • Azure Entra ID integration for application and API authentication/authorization • Developer-based software testing skills (i.e., unit testing, quality testing, functional testing) • Azure cloud computing and application hosting (i.e., Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Container Apps) • Containerized application development and orchestration • Version control management (i.e., git) • Database management systems (i.e., SQL, CosmosDB) Highly Preferred: • Artifact management and lifecycle, especially with JFrog Artifactory • Usage and configuration of Azure API Management (APIM) Responsibilities: Supports the defined tactical DevSecOps roadmap, contributing to the team’s objectives to improve DevSecOps across the organization. Produces high-quality solution or deliverables in accordance with effort estimates and specifications. Produces proper documentation of solution design and works with the team and external stakeholders to design and implement solution to meet company standards. Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders, including software engineering, operations, quality assurance and cybersecurity, to streamline processes. Contributes to the development and continuous improvement of automation solutions to enable teams to build and deploy code efficiently, securely and consistently. Develops elegant and inspired software, utilizing their creativity to build the most effective solutions that also follow the defined acceptance criteria and application architecture/design principles. Aims for continuous improvement in our developed solutions, resolving technical debt while developing and deploying new capabilities. Ensures the quality of our custom solutions through necessary unit testing, functional testing, AppSec testing, quality testing, etc. Provides operational support for internally developed solutions (restarting services, restarting jobs, troubleshooting pipeline templates, responding to customer tickets, etc.) while promoting the concepts of automation and continuous improvement. Understands and documents common practices, allowing team members to share responsibilities/tasks and promote operational resiliency.
