You will be a part of the Platform Engineering Team and work closely with business stakeholders, feature teams and the Platform/DevOps teams across distributed teams. As a DevOps Engineer you will help drive quality outcomes for our client programmes and enabling engineering teams by providing capabilities focused on the supportability and reliability of microservices software. The role ensures both engineering and operationally focused teams work seamlessly as one combined end-to-end engineering team. The role requires an ability to work with a diverse range of internal and external technical and engineering teams, to ensure a highly reliable, automated engineering & operational capability exists. **What you'll be doing** + Delivering scalable, maintainable features and resolving complex end-to-end engineering challenges + Designing and implementing process improvements to increase development velocity and efficiency + Leading code reviews with a focus on functional, non-functional, and architectural principles + Contributing to the design and implementation of software components to meet quality benchmarks + Resolving production issues, defects, and technical queries across development lifecycles + Conducting thorough reviews of personal and peer deliverables + Estimating and sizing technical development tasks for planning and prioritization + Reporting progress regularly and escalating risks or blockers when necessary + Defining and promoting agile methodologies and participating in team retrospectives + Identifying and articulating technical dependencies for cross-team coordination + Leading work prioritization and supporting task completion across engineering units **What you'll bring along** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Science, or related field + Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role + Proven hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, including Amazon EKS + Practical knowledge of Helm for efficient Kubernetes package management and release automation + Strong command of Terraform for defining and provisioning infrastructure as code across cloud environments + Solid understanding of the AWS ecosystem, with experience leveraging its services for scalable DevOps solutions + Familiarity with Git for source control, versioning, and collaborative codebase management + Excellent command of both spoken and written English. **What’s in it for you** ✔ New beginnings can be a challenge.
