Job Description:
As a DevOps System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing IT hardware components for clustered data orchestration stacks. You will work closely with our partners as well as data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data-driven strategies are effective and aligned with our organizational goals.
This position requires on-site support at the customer facility in Quantico, VA.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design and develop IT system components and hardware according to project specifications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and functionality of hardware solutions
Conduct testing and validation of hardware designs to ensure performance and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues
Participate in project planning and provide technical input to ensure successful project execution
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into system design
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps or related role
Strong understanding of hyper-converged infrastructure design, including networking, compute, and storage
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to optimize compute clusters and virtual storage networks for best software performance
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
