**Introduction** We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Developer to support critical IT infrastructure for IBM Storage Hardware Development. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Linux systems, networking, and datacenter technologies who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. **Your role and responsibilities** * Support development efforts related to infrastructure and business operations. * Deploy and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, including configuration, patching, and performance monitoring. * Install, configure, and maintain datacenter technologies including physical servers, SANs, switches, and routers. * Manage IT infrastructure hardware and troubleshoot issues across multiple environments. * Monitor and support DHCP, DNS, NFS, and Active Directory services. * Administer Direct Attached Storage (DAS) environments and integrate with VMware, core infrastructure storage systems, backup solutions, and SAN switch management. * Maintain multiple network file servers including Lenovo NAS appliances and Windows (CIFS). * Oversee all aspects of the infrastructure storage environment. * Document networking and server hardware, procedures, implementations, and problem logs. * Manage backup environments and assist in infrastructure security and compliance. * Provide support issue resolution within the team and respond to on-call and emergency after-hours situations. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Expertise in networking, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Linux (RHEL). * Experience with SANs, data security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning. * Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues quickly and accurately. * Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with distributed file systems and container platforms. * Familiarity with IBM Spectrum Scale (GPFS) and Red Hat OpenShift.
