Department OverviewThe Primary Data Team in IT is the central organization responsible for the governance, quality, and maintenance of our company's most critical data assets. We act as the single source of truth for core business entities like customer, product, and supplier data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all enterprise systems. Our team establishes and enforces data standards, defines data ownership, and implements the necessary tools and processes to cleanse, enrich, and manage primary data throughout its lifecycle. By providing a clean, reliable, and integrated foundation of data, we empower the entire organization to make informed decisions, operate more efficiently, and drive key business initiatives, from digital transformation to advanced analytics.
Job Description
We are looking for a hybrid DevOps Lead to join our Product Primary Data Team. This unique role combines the strategic and analytical skills of a Business Analyst with the agile leadership of a Scrum Lead, all within a DevOps framework. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our business stakeholders and our technical development team, ensuring that our Product Data solutions are not only robust and efficient but also perfectly aligned with business needs. You will guide our team in an Agile/Scrum environment, facilitating continuous improvement, supporting operational needs and accelerating the delivery of high-quality primary data solutions.
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document their product data requirements, processes, and pain points.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
Conduct gap analysis, data mapping, and process modeling to inform the design of our Product Primary Data solutions.
Maintain and prioritize the enhancement backlog, ensuring a clear and focused roadmap for the team.
Scrum Lead & Team Facilitation
Lead all Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
Coach and mentor the development team on Agile principles and best practices.
Remove impediments and blockers to ensure the team can focus on its sprint goals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team.
Track and report on key Agile metrics, such as velocity and burndown charts.
DevOps & Technical Leadership
Collaborate with the development and operations teams to design and implement CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines for our Product Primary Data platform.
Promote and implement DevOps best practices, including automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous monitoring.
Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our Product Primary Data systems.
Participate in solution design and architectural discussions, advocating for efficient and maintainable technical solutions.
Direct and manage the ongoing support of our Product Primary Data Systems
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in relevant Computer Science, Information Systems or Related Field.
5+ years of experience as an IT professional.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented attitude.
Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
