Infrastructure & Cloud Services are at the forefront of everything from Cloud to Networking, Data Centres to virtual servers/servers (Windows and Linux) as well as desktops, Licensing and mobile phones! Every piece of infrastructure at Head office, in the stores, the warehouses, for the website or the contact centre are supported by this area. Central services such as Microsoft Azure, GSuite and GCP, file services, Citrix, Active Directory (and much more) are all provided and supported by this area.

About You:
As a DevOps Engineer you’ll play a key part in this. Your focus will be on migrating our on-premise platforms to the cloud, working in alignment with our Development teams and providing Cloud environment knowledge. You’ll do this using different technologies:
Infrastructure-as-code Terraform Azure DevOps (on-premises and cloud), CI/CD pipelines, automated builds/releases Docker containers, Kubernetes, microservices, SonarQube, Helm charts PowerShell scripts SQL Server database, Windows & Linux servers Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, TFS Use monitoring tools for Applications, Servers & Services diagnostics
In addition, we’re looking for you to be:
Able to speak, read and write English at a level that enables you to complete your role, for example, to understand instructions and communicate effectively with stakeholders and/or other team members Experienced in effectively working in a collaborative manner in a large scale, fast paced environment within a multifunctional technical team
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be guiding project teams on how to use our environments in the best way possible as well as working with our brilliant in-house Auditing and Security teams. You’ll have a direct impact on the migration projects we have in the works so get ready to make your mark!
You’ll be doing all this from our South Elmsall office in Yorkshire on a hybrid basis with potential to have regular visits to our Leicestershire Head Office.
