In Tech Marketing, we get our hands dirty, we get to play with the latest and greatest virtualization platforms & software while ensuring that our technical message comes through loud and clear. We at Technical Marketing build, maintain, automate & publish trials, demos, digital experience center & events environments loaded with Siemens DI SW software on various virtualization platforms such as VMware, AWS & Azure. We work with cross-functional teams to enable a consistent technical message and accessible platforms and we proudly watch the content and environments we create support some of the most strategic marketing initiatives in the company. 

Key Responsibilities:

Your main objective will be to build & maintain an automation system that can create, update, patch the virtual environment, which will be leveraged at our Global Events, Experience Centers, and POC's. You will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our final needs.

Develop Automation architecture and implementation of the same. Benchmark other automation implementation. Include best practices in the system. Deploy updates and fixes & provide technical support. Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience. Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems. Perform root cause analysis for production errors. Investigate and resolve technical issues. Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance. Reporting of the automation flow.

Qualifications:

3 - 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role. Proficient with git and git workflows. Good knowledge of Ruby or Python. Working knowledge of AWS Cloud environment. Problem-solving attitude. Collaborative team spirit. Hands-on experience on automation implementation from scratch.
