As a Software Engineer III at JP Morgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking team, you will design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters and AWS cloud solutions. You will collaborate with talented professionals to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure that supports our business objectives.

Job responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across on-premises, AWS cloud, and hybrid environmentsDevelop, test, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and HelmImplement and support CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jules, Spinnaker, and JenkinsSet up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters using Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, and SplunkEnsure security, networking, and failover mechanisms for Kubernetes servicesBuild and maintain database solutions using SQL and RDBMS technologies

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification in software engineering or DevOps concepts and 3+ years applied experienceExperience with Terraform, Python, and Shell scriptingProficient in AWS Cloud Platform, system design, and application developmentExperience designing, building, testing, and deploying infrastructure as codeStrong SQL skills with experience in PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, Aurora, Teradata, or other RDBMS technologiesExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jules, Spinnaker, or JenkinsSolid understanding of Kubernetes services, networking, security policies, and failover mechanisms

Familiarity with modern front-end technologiesExposure to cloud technologies beyond AWSExperience with DatabricksKnowledge of service meshes, CNI plugins, and ingress controllers in Kubernetes
