Are you driven to streamline how software is deployed and supported across a national footprint? As a DevOps Engineer at Spectrum, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions that improve customer interactions and ensure reliable operations. Your expertise will directly elevate system performance and support, making a lasting impact on users throughout the country.
This position is in an office environment with a hybrid work schedule. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each week.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Collaborate with developers, testers and deployment teams to plan and execute software releasesDevelop and refine automated scripts for installing server software productsDeploy code and applications within cloud environmentsInstall or upgrade third-party software with developers and infrastructure teamsMonitor system performance, reliability and daily data processing to ensure smooth operationsParticipate in project stand-up meetings, offering insights and technical supportReview and contribute feedback to user-facing documentation and online helpProvide comprehensive documentation support for technical teamsDevelop and execute deployment plans to carry out application releases in production environmentsDesign and implement monitoring strategies to track infrastructure, servers and software applicationsDeliver advanced production support for all Spectrum applicationsAnalyze root causes and troubleshoot to resolve production issuesTake ownership of production issues and outages, driving resolution effortsWhat You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experienceExperience
3+ years working with dynamic scripting languages3+ years deploying software to production environments3+ years supporting Linux or other Unix systems3+ years of production support/incident management experienceSkills
Proficient in packaging and delivering software for productionSkilled in automating deployments using tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Gitlab, ArgoCD; Familiar with technology inputs, outputs and processing flows with strong communication abilitiesEffective problem solver with a track record of resolving complex issues collaborativelySkilled in SQL scripting with hands-on experience in MSSQL and Oracle databasesFamiliar with .Net applicationsKnowledgeable about architecture components such as servers, load balancers and databasesExperienced with telemetry tools including AppDynamics, Grafana, Datadog and PRTGAdept at Linux shell scripting environments, including bashKnowledgeable in AWS and container technologiesAble to write clear technical documentation for developers and testersCapable of managing multiple assignments under limited supervisionStrong verbal and written communication skillsThorough understanding of the Agile Software Development LifecycleDemonstrated leadership and ability to facilitate consensus between teamsESW330 2026-76675 2026
