The GEOAxIS system provides Identity, Credential and Access Management for all web applications. GEOAxIS enables online, on-demand, access to NGA GEOINT content based on user’s authoritative attributes/roles. Our Mission is to maintain highly available ICAM services for protecting those critical mission applications across all security domains. The GxNext contract was awarded to Leidos in 2021 and runs until 2031. 

GEOAxIS is seeking DevOps engineers to create a new, modern DevOps focused ICAM system based on containerized technologies.  We are seeking experienced or interested engineers looking to containerize, automate and deploy existing services and moderns COTS products to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead of existing systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create and maintain docker images of existing java and python microservicesDevelop and maintain helm charts to deploy custom microservice imagesConfigure and extend upstream helm charts and docker images of COTS productsEnsure repeatable infrastructure and software tasks are as automated as possibleWork with existing software development and operational teams to increase reliability and deployment velocity across all security domains

Basic Qualifications.

Bachelors degree in STEM technologies or an Associates degree at least 2 years experience or no degree and 4 years experience.1 year experience with Kubernetes or Openshift1 year experience with Ansible1 year experience with scripting and programming languages such as bash, python, or javaAbility to achieve Security+ within 60 days or hire

Preferred Qualifications.

Experience designing configuration management tools in a multi-operational environmentExperience with GitOps technologies (ArgoCD, FluxCD, etc)Experience with Git for version managementExperience with Gitlab or Jenkins CICD pipeline creationExperience with X509 certificate authentication, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, or LDAPCertifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Linux

Pay Range:Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
