Responsibilities:
Design and develop automation that contribute to the quality of the solution Design system and network architecture Implement POCs to validate infrastructure solutions Implement observability in cloud solutions Understand security gaps and give recommendations to be validated by security experts Write and review the infrastructure technical documentation, and user guidedocumentation to aid your team in using the infrastructure effectivelyAssist users in trouble shooting issues they are experiencing with the cloud platform e.g. system inaccessible, failing CI/CD pipelines Keep up to date with cloud computing technologies and market landscape Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud reference architectures Contribute to disaster recovery planning
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years software experience where you spent at least 3 years working in DevOps Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong understanding of systems and systems administration, especially Linux Strong understanding of cloud concepts, especially Azure including networking Working knowledge of version control systems and IaC, e.g. Git, Ansible, Terraform Working knowledge of system-level scripting and CI/CD, e.g. Bash, GitLab CI Working knowledge of container technology, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes Working knowledge of deploying SQL & No-SQL databases in production Knowledge of firewall policies, NAT rules Good understanding of how DevSecOps practices impact application security Good understanding of governance and compliance frameworks, e.g. CIS, NIST Has Agile methodology and process understanding and experience Has a continuous learning mindset and learning of new paradigms, techniques & practices in build-test-release cycles and software automation Open, strong communicator who communicates effectively across teams, locations and cultures, in-person and virtually Courage of convictions with a high degree of humility.
