Position Description:

Job Description
. We are seeking an experienced DevOps Coach to lead the adoption of DevOps practices and principles. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps methodologies, tools, and techniques, as well as excellent coaching and leadership skills. The DevOps Coach will work closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for implementing DevOps practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Main Tasks
. Create awareness about the DevOps culture and values
. Foster collaboration between development and operations, improving communication
. Assess the maturity level of teams by analyzing their applications and working methods
. Define the trajectory to reach the maturity level necessary to achieve Continuous Everything objectives
. Share, advise, and guide teams on best practices, processes, methods, and tools through training and workshops
. Contribute to building components of the DevOps pipeline
. Evaluate the progress of teams in terms of implementation of DevOps practices
. Collaborate with other coaches
. Break down silos and resolve blockages
. Create synergies between development and operations work
. Facilitate project handovers

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Technical Skills
. Production processes (ITIL, monitoring, infrastructure)
. DevOps (CI/CD, automation, Agile, Infrastructure as Code)
. General production knowledge (Cloud, VM, RHEL, Oracle, …)
Language Skills
. English (Expert)

. Strong communication (oral & written)

. Adaptability
. Leadershipmust be physically in Portugal, and a work at the office 3/5 days a week
