Antal is hiring a DevOps Architect as our first dedicated DevOps hire. This is a ground-floor opportunity to design and implement systems that will serve as the backbone of our platform. You’ll work closely with our CTO and founding engineers to architect and automate infrastructure, define CI/CD pipelines, and embed best-in-class DevOps practices from day one.

We operate with a flat hierarchy. While the role is titled Member of Technical Staff (MTS), the scope is equivalent to a DevOps Architect—you’ll have both ownership and autonomy to shape our technology decisions and standards.

What You’ll Do

Architect and evolve Antal’s AWS/GCP infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), built for scale, security, and resilience.

Design and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI), enabling rapid, reliable releases.

Set up observability, monitoring, and incident response systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch) to ensure high reliability and fast issue resolution.

Automate repetitive processes, create internal tools, and boost engineering efficiency across teams.

Partner with engineers to enforce cloud-native best practices and troubleshoot complex issues.

Evaluate emerging tools and frameworks, influencing technology adoption and company-wide DevOps standards.

What It Takes

7–15 years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles, with proven experience in scaling distributed systems.

Deep expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC) or GCP equivalents, and strong command of Terraform/CloudFormation.

Hands-on experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).

Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).

Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).

Advanced scripting in Bash, Python, or Go for infrastructure automation.
