Respond Clinician who responds in collaboration with a local police department to incidents of opiate overdose opiate use to engage individuals struggling with opiate addiction through outreach harm reduction education and linkage to careThis position is designed to provide services evenings and weekends when traditional treatment programs are closedThe Litchfield County Task Force and Charlotte Hungerford Hospital collaborated to bring this position into reality as a way to bridge an identified gap between first responders and behavioral health are by bringing the psychiatric clinician into the community after police and first responders to support all those impacted by opiate overdose crisis situationsProvides individual group family therapy and crisis intervention services to assigned case load utilizing the highest quality current standards for psychotherapy within the mental health fieldExcellent position for a high energy individual who wishes to be involved in developing a Marriage and Family Therapy or MS in Counseling and current State of Connecticut licensure as an LCSW LMFT or LPC requiredMinimum of of year providing crisis intervention services Experience with
