Lenovo Workstations provide powerful solutions to drive productivity, innovation, and design excellence in key vertical segments such as Engineering/Architecture/CAD, Media & Entertainment, Science, Medical, Energy, and Finance.
To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are currently seeking a senior level engineers to drive a site procurement role covering Lenovo Gaming & Workstation system and graphics supply chain enablement. This role will execute the 2nd stage supply chain, purchasing and management job, working with WW Procurement & Planning while aligning with supplier contracts, volume planning and purchasing processes.
What You'll Do
Follow Lenovo WW supply strategy and keep innovating procurement & supply operation process with cross teams.Work with internal/external teams in both localized and cross-functional scenariosManage material inventory including stock/WIP on MFG line at business process required time/frequencyWork with WW procurement teams on manufacturing process to ensure correct demand publish at material levelWork with supplier on manufacturing material demand & supply commitment, maintain healthy relationship with supplier to fulfill manufacturing demandWork with WW procurement, geographies and manufacturing on supply allocation and reservation when business requiredWork with WW Inventory / E&O team on manufacturing Aging/E&O handlingSupport Geo, manufacturing & Quality team for material handling process, including stock control, Q-hold, RMA, etc.Understand parts sourcing process and manage problem escalation with WW commodity management supportCollaborate with Architects and Engineering to guide the design and development of innovative products and solutions that meet compliance and market requirements with an eye on parts complexity and low risk manufacturing executionProvide cross-functional program leadership across Marketing, Procurement, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Assurance, Development, Software, and Service teams.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); technical or engineering discipline preferred.5+ years of program management experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives.10+ years of overall technical experience, ideally in the PC or Workstation industry.Experience in supplier and partner relationship management.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.As a global company, Lenovo has relationships with suppliers and teams throughout the world. This position may require morning/evening meetings which occur outside normal working hours, and candidates must be agreeable to a flexible work schedule.

Proven ability to manage large-scale programs involving multiple concurrent projects and diverse stakeholders.Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.Data analysis capability with excellent office tool skillsThis position will be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC. Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Candidates that are already local to Raleigh, NC are preferred.
