What you will be doing

Key accountabilities:

Generate aeroelastic models for fan and compressor components or assembliesPerform aeroelastic simulations for fan and compressor components or assembliesDefine engine and component tests to demonstrate life and integrity of componentsEvaluate simulation, analyses and test results with respect to fatigue-life and integrityEvaluate components and component deviationsPresentation of results and writing of reportsPrepare certification reports Support methods developmentSupport research projects

To be successful in this role you will need to:

Qualifications and Experience:

Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalentGood knowledge and experience in CFD methods and application for flow simulationsKnowledge in engineering mechanics and application of finite element methods (FEM) Knowledge in aeroelasticity methods Basic knowledge in methods to evaluate fatigue-life and integrity of componentsExperience in analyses of turbomachineryAbility to work in a teamGood english spoken and written
