We're hiring a Development Coordinator in Fort Worth, TX.
This position will support the Fort Worth Heart Walk team and fundraising campaigns. Responsibilities will include coordinating event logistics for major and auxiliary events, providing ongoing project management, maintaining databases, and coordinating and motivating volunteers.
This is an office-based position with a hybrid schedule. The office is in Fort Worth, TX.

Responsibilities Serve as lead on all data entry and finance for the Heart Walk campaign.Provide administrative support to the team by scheduling meetings, organizing mailings, generating reports, and managing expenses.Attend meetings and record meeting minutes. Arrange for meeting space, room logistics, meals, and equipment.Prepare, edit, and maintain fundraising materials and presentations as well as event collateral and marketing materials.Organize and create sponsorship proposals while tracking sponsorship payments and benefits delivered.In collaboration with the events team, coordinate the vendor contract process and track vendors’ adherence to contractual obligations and perform as agreed upon. Coordinate logistics for auxiliary events and virtual events.Oversee expenses and budget for each Heart Challenge campaign by working with the team. Monitor event budget. Coordinate and track invoicing, expenses, and peripheral accounts for events.Work with companies and community members involved with the Heart Walk, always maintaining excellent customer service.Travel to events within Tarrant County and the surrounding service territory.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required.3 years of prior administrative support experience in a related environment with knowledge and understanding of event or meeting management.Must have at least basic knowledge and skill/proficiency with Microsoft Office, with a priority on Excel experience preferred.Experience in Canva, Salesforce, and Blackbaud Luminate preferred.Ability to work outside of standard hours, which may involve some evenings and/or weekends.Ability and willingness to travel locally throughout the territory.Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components, or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving.
