Responsibilities

Job Purpose 

 

The Development Associate will lend support to advancing development of Pattern’s North American renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

Planning and attending meetings with a variety of project stakeholders; coordinating development activities with functional groups – finance, environmental, technical, etc.; Preparing and managing project budgets and schedules; managing project vendors;Assistance with acquiring wind and solar land rights; Assistance with project permitting activities;Preparing presentations and other project-related materials; Provide project team support to power marketing activities; analysis of new project development opportunities;Assistance with economic analysis to support project and corporate decision-making. Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record and keen interest in renewable energy development. 2-5 years of experience in renewable energy development desired.

Required Work Experience

Excellent communication, and organizational skills.Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as required.Strong interpersonal skills.Strong analytical skills.

Technical Skills

Proficient in Power Point, Word and Excel.
