**In this role, you have the opportunity to** contribute to MR pulse sequence development in the MR business, working with an international team of software developers to innovate and improve the MR products. **Your role:** + Developing and adapting MR pulse sequences to provide improvements in image quality or new clinical contrasts + Investigating root causes of customer complaints + Contributing to regulatory clearance of new products + Maintaining connections with other groups within Philips as well as external customers, to share knowledge in new applications of MR physics + Contributing to invention disclosures **You're the right fit if:** + Masters or PhD in Physics, Mathematics, or MR related science + A minimum of 3 years of experience in MRI + In-depth understanding of MR physics and experience with pulse sequence software + Affinity with programming in C++ and/or Python, with an interest in creating high quality software + Proven innovation ability (e.g. patents, journal papers) + Fluency in English + Experience working with multidisciplinary teams + Creative and innovative with a willingness to take risks in order to create advanced concepts through fast prototyping, and able to engineer these prototypes into solid product designs **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
