Description:
The Adobe Campaign Developer is an active collaborator in the client on campaign design, helping the client achieve their marketing objectives. The Adobe Campaign Developer takes the lead on complex multi-wave trigger campaigns, complex direct mail, and highly segmented email communications. They proactively identify conflicts between the defined strategy supplied by the client and the functional capabilities of their database and the reporting functions supporting that database. In addition, they provide coaching and mentoring of Junior resources developing the skills of their teammates.
Essential Responsibilities And Deliverables:
• Design and implement complex multi-wave, multi-channel triggered communications using tool(s) such as Adobe Campaign, with coding for versioning (dynamic in email), offers and personalization and Email Deployment
• Provide and be knowledgeable in "best practices" in campaign development to optimize efficiency and quality of deliverables; implement and support automation for “lights-out” triggered communications
• Develop and execute multi-channel contact strategies across customer segments touchpoint channels (email, direct mail, social and direct marketing on site), with the goal of engendering loyalty and driving revenue from existing and prospect customers
• From data analyses, develop, test and measure campaign strategies that will drive desired customer behavior
• Lead campaign and program requirement discussions both internally and with clients to gain added insights from the customer data needed to drive strategies, such as understanding of offer responsiveness, content relevancy and communications channel engagement (DM, EM, Social, Direct Web)
• Document and communicate campaign strategy and work with campaign execution team and project manager to establish timeline and schedules for implementation and measurement
• Provide insightful, actionable customer analysis to our clients including the development of statistically sound customer targeting and test plans, measurement of their current marketing programs, and providing insight and recommendations for improving the profitably of their marketing programs
• Summarize and present results of campaign strategies to internal and client constituents
Education (Preferred):
• Any fulltime degree
• Total 4-5 years of experience working with Adobe Campaign Classic
• 1-2 years’ experience in database marketing analysis including analytics, direct marketing test design, response analysis, ROI analysis, segmentation analysis, customer profiling, etc., preferably with a marketing service provider
• 1-2years’ experience with database querying tools, languages and analytical platforms supporting database marketing such as Adobe Campaign, SQL
• Familiarity with Web Development
• Good understanding of XML and Java strongly Preferred
• Retail or Direct Marketing experience strongly preferred
• Deep hands-on experience in multi-channel, multi-wave (trigger) direct marketing operations, strategy, and analysis
• Ability to integrate data to new or existing database structures
• Ability to mine data, using query language(s) to create data for program development support
• Report development experience
• Marketing program forecasting, measurement, and assessment
• Direct marketing program design and customer segmentation
• Ability to analyze, interpret and report on direct marketing campaign results
• Knowledge in statistical modeling techniques and customer scoring
• Knowledge in database discovery, planning, and design
• Client and vendor relationship management and consultation
