Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ITAM Specialist to lead the implementation and optimization of ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules. This role requires deep expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), CMDB integration, lifecycle processes, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define ITAM strategies, ensure licensing optimization, and support enterprise-wide asset visibility and governance Key Responsibilities: • Implement and maintain ITAM workflows and lifecycle processes on the ServiceNow platform • Support software and hardware asset inventory and tracking across the enterprise • Work with procurement and finance to ensure asset records are aligned and complete • Assist in tracking SaaS software publishers, distinguishing between discoverable SaaS apps with automated usage data and non-discoverable SaaS requiring manual reconciliation • Analyze software installations and usage to support compliance and optimization efforts • Maintain data accuracy and integrity in the CMDB and ITAM tables • Create reports and dashboards to visualize asset KPIs and audit trail • Assist with tool integration and discovery-related activities • Collaborate with internal audit, legal, and IT operations for license compliance • Required Skills and Experience: • 8–10 years of experience in ITAM/IT operations, with at least 3 years on ServiceNow ITAM • Familiarity with ServiceNow modules related to HAM /SAM/CMDB • Understanding of asset lifecycle management and data governance • Experience in working with ACC, JAMF, Discovery, or similar asset data tools • Strong communication skills and stakeholder interaction experience • Preferred Skills: • Exposure to licensing models and contract/license tracking • Hands-on with asset normalization and catalog mapping • strategies to manage and govern both discoverable and non-discoverable SaaS software publishers in ITAM • Familiarity with ServiceNow dashboards and report generation • Understanding of audit preparation and remediation activities • Certifications (Preferred): • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITAM/HAM/SAM • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or Intermediate • Certified system Administrator (CSA)
