Email Development & Technical Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with HTML/CSS for responsive email development Proven understanding of email marketing best practices (design, deliverability, optimization) Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) components: Email Studio Content Builder AMPscript scripting for dynamic email content Automation Studio Journey Builder

Campaign Execution & Collaboration:

Ability to plan, build, and deploy email campaigns collaboratively with marketing teams Experience testing for compatibility across platforms, devices, and clients Strong attention to email rendering issues, spam regulations, and accessibility

Good to Have Skills:

Experience with SQL for audience segmentation or querying data extensions in SFMC Familiarity with MobileConnect and SMS marketing within SFMC Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and other email compliance regulations Exposure to Adobe Journey Optimizer or other marketing orchestration tools Experience monitoring email campaign performance and applying data-driven optimizations

Role Responsibilities:

Develop and code interactive, responsive HTML emails for various lines of business Ensure email designs are mobile-optimized and compatible across email clients Work closely with marketing teams to coordinate deployment of email campaigns Develop using AMPscript and dynamic content to personalize user experiences Use Automation Studio and Journey Builder to configure campaign workflows Collaborate with business partners to define email requirements and campaign goals Maintain email templates, troubleshoot rendering issues, and optimize load performance Monitor performance KPIs (open rates, CTRs, bounces) and recommend improvements Execute routine QA checks, spam testing, and inbox rendering tests Contribute to email development best practices, process improvement, and internal documentation
