As Developer Embedded Linux you will developing and maintaining Embedded Software for ARM/Linux platforms and systems in a client-server. You will collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between software and hardware components.
As an Developer Embedded Linux, you will be responsible for:
Designing & implementation of embedded software for ultrasonic inspection devices based on TCP/IP for embedded Linux systems
Implementing of user- and kernel space modules for hardware interaction including DMA drivers and Shared memory modules
Designing and Implementing of result-data-servers with special focus to maximum data throughput
Handling the interacting with common interfaces like I2C, Ethernet, WLAN, UART.
Designing of efficient software and hardware interfaces using DMA transfers and kernel-mode drivers.
Debugging, problem-solving and troubleshooting of embedded systems
Releasing software including new features and bug fixes
Participating in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have successfully completed your studies in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
Have significant experience in Software Development
Be familiar with C/C++ as well as common scripting languages programming (Python, Lua, Bash)
Be familiar with software version control systems (git)
Be self-contained, self-motivated, and have a structured approach to work
Demonstrate good verbal and written communication in English
