About the Team
Our eCommerce websites and apps have grown steadily over the past 10 years to become one of the largest online retail platforms in the UK. We sell to 70 international markets, offering our 6 million active customers a personalised shopping experience and the ability to purchase from a wide range of products using multiple delivery methods and payment types.
Our “Total Platform” brings our experience and expertise in eCommerce to the wider market, and offers our software as a service to clients who wish to take advantage of what we have to offer including our entire infrastructure such as warehouse, distribution, call centre and much more. We are proud to say that so far we have onboarded clients such as Victoria’s Secret, Reiss and many more since its inception just a mere 5 years ago.
The Total Platform team is responsible for onboarding clients onto our platform which includes setting up a client-branded eCommerce website and supporting the migration from their existing platform. Our goal is to ensure the process of onboarding is as quick and pain-free as possible whilst also delivering an eCommerce solution with performance and quality in mind so that our clients and customers get the best experience possible. We aim to constantly improve our onboarding process with each new client which means a focus on improving scalability and optimizations where possible to reduce delivery times.
About the Role
You’ll work within our team across several complex codebases as part of our cross-functional effort to onboard new clients, this involves both legacy monolithic codebases and also more modern codebases with cloud-based architectures.
Being part of the Total Platform team requires pace, expertise and a can-do attitude, and you’ll be used to coming up with imaginative solutions to problems that have to be solved with a hard deadline.
Working with the necessary departments in the company from project concept to delivery and beyond will be a challenge you will continually meet. Delivering high-impact, performant and high-visibility features will appeal to your nature, and spur you on to help us build even better features and technologies.
Providing development support to internal users, as well as offering out-of-hours cover, you’ll continually feedback your expertise and experience to help make us even better.
You'll be expected to mentor and help direct the team whilst ensuring the quality and technical approach taken by team members meets the company strategy.
