Make It With Pride.** Working as part of a cross-functional team you lead the RDQ activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios and/or productivity projects keeping in mind the goal to deliver the desired consumer experience. **How you will contribute** You will work independently to plan, lead and coordinate technical projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements You will effectively communicate status and risks and plan, lead and coordinate pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In addition, you will plan, lead and coordinate development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation. etc.). To provide direction for product development, you will use digital simulation models to obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information. They will deliver expert technical knowledge for their function, develop solutions to problems, ensures compliance to technical policies & procedures and delivers the technical input to address business needs. Executes against objectives and significantly influences the direction and quality of work done by other technical people. **You will:** + Drive excellence in Project Management. + Plan andexecuteswork plans, including development of risk assessments and contingency plans. + Analyze results of experiments and translate them into actionable recommendations with minimal guidance and support. + Havestrongknowledge of the commercialization process. + Identify and efficientlyutilizenecessary resources to achievetimelydelivery of projectobjectives. In addition, the candidate should havegoodunderstanding of the functional characteristics of ingredients, packaging materials, and processing capabilities and how theyimpactthe finished product, to meet consumer and business expectations. + Be versatile andbe able to work in cross-functional teams. The candidate must be capable of working proactively across multiple projects. You should be able toleveragethe value in MDLZ experts/partners,demonstrateand utilize an understanding of the NA supply chainnetwork, and ensure compliance to quality documentation, regulatory requirements, FTO/IP, and confidentiality requirements. **Education / Certifications:** BS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related field. **Job specific requirements:** + Minimum of5yrs. experience, preferably in the food industry. + Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity. + Ability to develop, plan for, and carry out plant trialsat internal and external factories. + Able to develop and drive technical projects with proper scientific rigor: conductappropriate testing, gather and analyze data, and develop recommendations based on findings. + Demonstratedability to handle multiple projects,prioritizeand manage complexity- from bench top to commercialization. + Participatein cross functional teams toidentifyand resolve technical issues. + Write process specifications that deliver consistent, high-quality products acrossnumerousmanufacturing facilities. + Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization **Travel requirements:** Travel up to 25%, to potential locations in Canada, Europe, US. **Work schedule:** No Relocation support available **Business Unit Summary** With several brands that are among consumer favourites, including Cadbury, OREO, Christie and Maynards, we are one of the largest snack companies in Canada.
