Our client is currently seeking a qualified **Desktop Support Technician** to join their team **onsite** in West Palm Beach, FL and provide end-user support. **Work hours are expected to be M-F, 8am-5pm.** **Duties and Responsibilities** **:** + Unpacks appropriate CPU, hardware, and software and installs each at default or to custom specifications + Tests configured systems for appropriate functioning and troubleshoots for any errors found + Completes all required documentation of installation, including quality assurance sheet to ensure accurate billing with respect to warranty contract, proper processing of defective products, and timely vendor returns and reimbursements + Follows customer personal computer system hardware and software specifications based on instructions supplied + Complies with departmental training certification requirements + Troubleshoots malfunctioning units using efficient problem-solving techniques and departmental procedures + Researches hardware and software literature to keep abreast on new product / service developments and announcements + Works with Lead Technicians on difficult-to-solve problems or configurations **Skills and Qualifications:** + Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 + Experience with deployments and troubleshooting + Great customer service skills + Some experience or knowledge of PowerShell + Knowledge or experience with Horizon Connection Servers, Horizon Agents, and client upgrades + Documentation Skills + Physical Desktop Support + Experience working with VMware VDI **Wage Range** : The hourly rate for this position is between **$20.00 - $30.80 per hour.** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. **Benefits** **:** The Company offers a comprehensive benefit package that you can elect into including but not limited to the following benefits, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, disability plans, Employee Assistance Program, paid holidays (up to 6 days annually), paid time off (minimum of 10 days annually), paid parental leave (minimum of 10 days annually), 401(k), FSA/HSA pre-tax benefits.
