Compensation: $75000 - $90000 annually
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Security Clearance: US Citizenship is required but no clearance needed
Job Titles & Responsibilities:
+ IT Asset Management (Specialist) - Infrastructure Services and Management: This role focuses on enterprise IT hardware assets, specifically the use of ServiceNow HAMPro.
+ 5+ Years Svc Desk Tech with asset management: This position emphasizes technical support and asset management, including onsite desktop setup, deploying various IT assets, and managing the asset lifecycle with experience in tools like ServiceNow.
+ Desktop Support / Asset Management / Incident Technician: hardware inventory management, monitoring ticket queues, and supporting events like desk checkouts and hardware decommissioning.
+ Hardware Asset Management ServiceNow HAMPro to manage hardware assets through full lifecycle within a federal environment.
+ Microsoft Intune experience to manage user access to organizational resources, app and device management experience.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
+ Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, particularly the Hardware Asset Management (HAMPro) module.
+ Experience with IT asset management and tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Ivanti, or BMC Helix.
+ Familiarity with IT hardware asset lifecycle stages (e.g., receive, deploy, reclaim, dispose).
+ Experience assisting with hardware inventory tracking, asset reconciliation, and audit support.
+ Ability to identify and correct discrepancies in asset records.
+ Exposure to IT infrastructure equipment.
+ Comfort working with large data sets and using tools like Excel for reconciliation and reporting.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Effective communication skills.
+ Experience in technical support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
+ Knowledge of computer software, operating systems, hardware, and networking.
+ Experience with Active Directory and MS Office 365.
+ Ability to make important decisions under pressure.
+ Problem-solving skills.
+ Experience with hardware lifecycle management.
Certification Preferences:
While not always required, certifications in IT asset management such as CHAMP, CSAM, or ITIL v3 Foundations can be beneficial.
