Position Summary To deliver desired, sustainable business outcomes and assure the integrity and continuity of our systems. This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of AutoZone’s hardware, software and/or network applications. This includes acquiring domain knowledge, growing technical skills, supporting the customers, resolving problems, and training as required. Responsibilities: Participate in any and potentially all roles of the system's development life cycle. Roles may vary by project and assignment. This may include, but not limited to: + Develop and/or maintain software applications; debug, design, code, test, write specifications, roll-out software, and production support. + Technical services; software, hardware and network architecture design and maintenance; data security. + Support engineering and automation, coding based on design and plan provided and roll-out implementation. + Maintain inventory records and hardware assignments with the asset management system. + Monitors health of hardware and software systems to ensure that established SLAs are met. + Increases knowledge of AutoZone systems. Keeps abreast of all innovations and changes to AutoZone systems to ensure the ability to use the appropriate tools and training to provide quality support. + Regularly maintains, upgrades, and supports existing systems to ensure operational stability for business groups. + This position will work cross functionally across not only end user support, conferencing support, inventory support, but also the broader team to include Collaboration and Desktop Engineering areas, sharing knowledge, experience, and ideas on how we apply scripting and engineering automation and solutions to add value for the enterprise.
