Designer Electrical Details:

Direct Hire position$55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday)Design and detail of equipment electrical parts and systemsDesign of panel layouts and interconnection diagramsSupport research and development of new equipment through imagination and original ideasCreate economical assemblies with safety and durability as the key ingredientsInterpret and integrate electrical drawings/models from clients and vendorsDetailing (drafting) of equipment electrical parts and systemsDetailing (drafting) of panel layouts and interconnection diagramsPurchase components associated with projects

Designer Electrical Qualifications:

2-year associates degree (A.S.) in Electrical Engineering or 5 years progressive experience Proficiency with a 2D drafting package: AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Autodesk Vault a plusProficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OutlookKnowledge of basic electrical system design and components such as contractors, fuses, relays, terminal blocks and transformersKnowledge of various types of electrical components and assemblies such as VFD’s, PLC’s and Sensors
