What's in it for you

As a DTO (Design to Order) Designer I, you will play a pivotal role in the mechanical and/or electrical design of various customized commercial air handler products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated and efficient designs.

What you will do:

Create designs and drawings for mechanical and electrical parts, drawings, and assemblies using 3D Parametric and 2D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.).Develop a good working knowledge and familiarity of design and drafting standard practices, methods, and processes.Collaborate with various engineering and systems teams to ensure designs meet project specifications, standards, and client requirements.Review and interpret technical documents, such as specifications, schematics, design intents and codes.Stay current with business and industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Must be customer driven, innovative and quality minded in performance of all assigned duties.Must be able to perform work independently, and as part of a team, to meet project deadlines.

What you will bring:

Associate\u2019s degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field.2-4 years of experience in mechanical design. (Related educational courses count toward this experience.)Solid understanding of design principles, codes, and standards.Experience in CAD software (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Effective communication and teamwork skills.
