Job Title: Design Verification Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Design Verification Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for working on a device that processes internet traffic, ensuring the design is validated and functions correctly. This involves sending and receiving data streams through optical communication networks, validating connectivity, and using formal verification techniques.

Responsibilities

Validate the design by using formal verification techniques.Understand the framework and tools to learn about the blocks and signals of interest.Validate connections and interfaces, ensuring proper linkage and resolution.Collaborate with designers to debug and resolve issues.Conduct code coverage and functional coverage analysis.

Essential Skills

Experience with formal verification and Questa Formal tools.Proficiency in UVM and SystemVerilog simulation-based verification.Exposure to coverage analysis and closure using formal or simulation tools.Experience with SoC Verification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with functional simulations with Ethernet and AXI protocol is a plus.Experience with ASIC, FPGA, debug, simulation, functional coverage, and code coverage.Familiarity with telecom protocols, Ethernet, OTN, etc.Ability to express requirements in both basic and complex properties.Comfortable with functional coverage concepts and report analysis.Understanding of UVM simulation-based verification components.Ability to work independently within a collaborative group.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent debugging abilities.

Work Environment

3 days on site in Ottawa. The work culture emphasizes innovation, customer focus, integrity, velocity, and collaboration in a professional yet informal setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
