The Propulsion system component Design System Engineer is responsible for the delivery of the mechatronic hardware solution for all so-equipped applications. Technical lead for EDS team which are responsible for the design, development, validation, and release of propulsion system hardware. They are responsible for electrified component during all phases of development and production. Design release experience is highly recommended.
The objective is to ensure the timeliness and quality of the components required to fulfill the propulsion system technical specification. The candidate must be a strong leader, energetic, team oriented, and willing to work in fast paced environment.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related degree field A minimum of 8 years of experience in powertrain engineering specializing in program execution Understanding of the function and performance characteristics of all propulsion system components including electric motors, inverters, engine, and their interactions Understanding of the key hardware parameters that can be varied in order to meet high level system requirements and the trade-off analyses that are required to determine the optimum hardware architecture along with software structure to meet the vehicle level functional objectives Understanding of the engineering development processes to ensure robust design development Ability to review and approve technical documentation including DFMEA's, DVP&R's Functional safety training - ISO26262 (certification not required) Knowledge of proactive and reactive problem solving techniquesPreferred Qualifications:
Master of Science Degree in Engineering
