**Job Summary**
The Design Operations Analyst is a key enabler of innovation and execution within the design organization. This role empowers designers to focus on high-impact, strategic work by reducing friction, establishing process clarity, and improving operational efficiency. Acting as a central connector across Design, Process Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams, the specialist ensures seamless collaboration and alignment. From managing tools and workflows to driving process governance and scaling best practices, this position plays a pivotal role in elevating design quality and accelerating delivery across cross-functional initiatives.
**Major Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain the design backlog and communicate updates across pods and cross-functional partners to ensure visibility, prioritization, and alignment.
+ Plan and facilitate design rituals such as critiques, reviews, and planning sessions. Collect, organize, and maintain feedback in a centralized source of truth.
+ Partner with Process Engineering to coordinate field visits and research efforts—handling logistics, stakeholder engagement, and workshop documentation.
+ Develop and maintain evolving personas and journey maps, ensuring they stay integrated into the Azure DevOps (ADO) process and product lifecycle.
+ Assist with recruiting by managing design challenge tasks, candidate tracking, and vendor/contract coordination to streamline onboarding and evaluation.
+ Ensure tools, templates, and workflows are standardized across the org to create a consistent experience for both the team and cross-functional partners.
+ Create and manage dashboards and metrics (e.g., design velocity, UX KPIs, OKRs) to communicate design’s value and effectiveness.
+ Lead sync meetings across Product, Design, and Engineering—setting agendas, tracking decisions, and ensuring accountability and follow-through.
+ Document and evolve internal design workflows to scale institutional knowledge, reduce onboarding friction, and support cross-team clarity.
+ Partner with the Innovation Hub to manage logistics for research and testing—handling participant recruiting, scheduling, incentive tracking, and compliance with legal and privacy standards.
**Education & Experience:**
+ 3-5+ years of experience in digital operations, program management, or UX coordination.
+ Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
+ Familiarity with tools such as FigJam board, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
+ Background in UX, human-centered design, or related disciplines is a plus.
+ This job may require up to 25% travel.
